TIME SPIRAL REMASTERED DEBUTS THURSDAY

Magic Online's newest offering, Time Spiral Remastered, will be on sale starting Thursday, March 18 at 10 a.m. Pacific (17:00 UTC). The normal suite of new set events (Friendly Sealed, Competitive Sealed, and Draft) will be available on that day and are planned to run until Strixhaven releases next month.

NOTE:

  • Time Spiral Remastered is non-redeemable
  • Treasure Chests will not include versions of cards in the set until the next update with Strixhaven in April.

Friendly Sealed League

Schedule: This League will begin on March 18, at 10 a.m. PT. This League is planned to run until the release of Strixhaven in April.

Product: 6 Time Spiral Remastered boosters, with the option to add a Time Spiral Remastered booster after each of the first two stages.

Structure: 3 stages of up to 3 matches each, played at your convenience

Entry Options:

  • 24 Event Tickets
  • 6 Time Spiral Remastered boosters + 4 Event Tickets
  • 240 Play Points

Upgrade Options:

Upgrades are available at the beginning of each stage beyond the first. Choosing any of these options will add the contents of one Time Spiral Remastered booster to your Sealed pool.

  • 4 Event Tickets
  • 1 Time Spiral Remastered booster
  • 40 Play Points

Stage Prizes:

Stage prizes are earned for each of the three stages in the League.

  • 3 wins: 40 Play Points + 1 Friendly Trophy
  • 2 wins: 30 Play Points
  • 1 win: 20 Play Points
  • 0 wins: 10 Play Points

Course Prizes:

Course prizes are earned after completing all three stages.

  • 9 wins: 3 Time Spiral Remastered boosters + 200 Play Points
  • 8 wins: 2 Time Spiral Remastered boosters + 200 Play Points
  • 7 wins: 1 Time Spiral Remastered booster + 200 Play Points
  • 6 wins: 200 Play Points
  • 5 wins: 100 Play Points
  • 4 wins: 50 Play Points

Competitive Sealed League

Schedule: This League will begin on March 18, at 10 a.m. PT. This League is planned to run until the release of Strixhaven in April.

Product: 6 Time Spiral Remastered boosters

Structure: Up to 5 matches, played at your convenience

Entry Options:

  • 24 Event Tickets
  • 6 Time Spiral Remastered boosters + 4 Event Tickets
  • 240 Play Points

Prizes:

  • 5 wins: 6 Time Spiral Remastered boosters + 360 Play Points + 5 Qualifier Points + 1 Competitive Trophy
  • 4 wins: 3 Time Spiral Remastered boosters + 240 Play Points + 2 Qualifier Points
  • 3 wins: 1 Time Spiral Remastered booster + 120 Play Points + 1 Qualifier Point

Draft League

Schedule: This League will begin on March 18, at 10 a.m. PT. This League is planned to run until the release of Strixhaven in April.

Product: 3 Time Spiral Remastered boosters

Structure: Draft, then up to 3 matches at your convenience

Entry Options:

  • 12 Event Tickets
  • 3 Time Spiral Remastered boosters + 2 Event Tickets
  • 120 Play Points

Prizes:

  • 3 wins: 6 Time Spiral Remastered boosters + 2 Qualifier Points + 1 Competitive Trophy
  • 2 wins: 2 Time Spiral Remastered boosters

LIMITED QUALIFIER FRIDAY

On Saturday, March 19, there will be a Kaldheim Sealed Qualifier with a special start time of 2 p.m. PT (UTC-7). The event costs 40 QPs, and the winner will earn an invitation to the Strixhaven Split Championship event on MTG Arena.

LEGACY SUPER QUALIFIER SATURDAY

On Saturday, March 20, there will be a Legacy Super Qualifier with a start time of 7 a.m. PT (UTC-7). The entry fee is 40 MOCS Qualifier Points, 40 Event Tickets, or 400 Play Points. The top two finishers qualify for the Strixhaven Championship on MTG Arena.

MODERN SUPER QUALIFIER SUNDAY

On Sunday, March 21, there will be a Modern Super Qualifier with a start time of 7 a.m. PT (UTC-7). The entry fee is 40 MOCS Qualifier Points, 40 Event Tickets, or 400 Play Points. The top two finishers qualify for the Strixhaven Championship on MTG Arena.

KALDHEIM SEASON ALTERNATIVE PLAY CALENDAR

For Kaldheim season's alternative play, we have quite the variety for you. Please note that events change over from one week to the next on Wednesday mornings and last for one week unless specified otherwise.

  • March 24: Time Spiral Remastered Supreme Draft. Time Spiral Remastered comes out on March 19. Before everyone has mastered this remaster, let's draft some truly absurd decks.
  • March 31: A new Spotlight Cube. As usual, we'll have more to share when we get closer.
  • April 7: Another new Spotlight Cube. Again, details will come as the event approaches.

MAGIC ONLINE FORMAT CHALLENGES EVERY WEEKEND

Format Challenges are the first step toward qualifying for Premier Play through your favorite Magic formats and provide excellent prizes for those looking to test their mettle in their favorite formats. To learn more about Premier Play qualification, click here.

Magic Online's Format Challenges run once on Saturdays and once on Sundays for each Constructed format! On weekends featuring Showcase Challenge events, the Format Challenge that starts at either 6 a.m., 8 a.m., or 10 a.m. Pacific time is pre-empted by the Showcase Challenge—Format Challenges scheduled at other times remain in place. NOTE: The Pauper Challenge is never pre-empted.
